Superintendent Mark Pavolski refers to transportation director Brad Dumback as "a magician." When a bus once broke down en route from Trout Lake, Dumback drove another bus the 50 miles from the school to students who were forced to wait in arctic 5-degree temperatures. If a bond passes, the district will stock up on more new buses.
On the last day of school, students at Rudyard hang out on the school's dilapidated track.
