Bio

Jessica Ayoub is the Deputy Political Director at the ACLU of Michigan. With extensive experience in grassroots organizing, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership, Jessica leads strategic campaigns and coalition-building efforts to protect and advance civil liberties across the state. Since joining the ACLU of Michigan in 2017, Jessica has played a key role in major initiatives, including Promote the Vote 2018 and Reproductive Freedom for All, protecting voting rights and abortion access, respectively.

Prior to the ACLU, Jessica worked as Community Engagement Coordinator at Forgotten Harvest and served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA in Detroit. Jessica serves on the board of Freedom House Detroit and the University of Michigan School of Social Work Community Advisory Board.

Jessica holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan, a BA in Social Relations & Policy from Michigan State University and is a graduate of the Michigan Political Leadership Program.
