Leveraging a new national ACLU giving circle, this giving officer will qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors giving between $5,000 - $25,000 annually. The goal is to build, cultivate, solicit, and steward a mid-major gift portfolio of approximately 75 donors by the end of the first year. The ideal candidate is someone who’s relentless in building a pipeline of qualified major donors and excels in serving donors through meaningful giving experiences.
The ACLU of Michigan seeks a full-time Digital Strategist to join its four-person communications team. The ideal candidate for the Digital Strategist position will have excellent writing skills, a proven ability to implement online communication for marketing, advocacy and outreach, is proficient in graphic design and video production, can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work space, is a creative thinker with strong analytical skills, and can grow the digital program, setting and driving messaging and brand awareness, and are committed to social justice.
The ACLU of Michigan seeks a full-time Staff Attorney or Senior Staff Attorney, who could be designated a Senior Staff Attorney depending on experience, and will litigate a wide variety of civil rights and civil liberties cases at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts, acting as lead or co-counsel, and often in partnership with volunteer attorneys, coalition partners, and lawyers from the national ACLU. The Staff Attorney will collaborate with staff in other departments to set goals and implement strategies that advance ACLU priorities and campaigns.
