Eman Hubbard is the Digital Strategist for the ACLU of Michigan. Eman works on a range of issues like voting rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, and criminal legal reform.
Eman earned her B.A. from Michigan State University where she majored in Media Information and Public Health. Before joining the ACLU of Michigan in August 2020, Eman worked for the University of Michigan, managing, implementing, and monitoring all digital and traditional campaigns. Coming from a background in immigration, she sought out a career that gave back to communities through a digital lens. She has utilized her digital experience in advocacy, government, education, and healthcare before joining the team.
Her favorite saying is, "When you reach a dead-end, you can always pivot."
