Special Assistant to the Executive Director



She first joined the ACLU of Michigan in September 2012 as the Development Associate, and in July 2017 joined the Executive team. In this role she is responsible for day-to-day operation of the Executive Director’s office and supports the work of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and other committees. She also manages the orientation of all staff, fellows, and interns, and assists the Executive Director in promoting open and robust communication in and between offices through managing special projects.

Prior to coming to the ACLU of Michigan, Jennifer worked in the Office of Alumni Relations and Development at Northwestern University and was an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer with the Allen Neighborhood Center in Lansing focusing on food sustainability and fundraising for the small non-profit. Jennifer graduated from Michigan State University in 2007 with a B.A. in International Studies and Economics.
