Watch the recording of this webinar

Join the ACLU of Michigan virtually on Wednesday, April 1 at 7p to learn how we are responding to COVID-19 and what you can do to continue helping defend civil rights and liberties from home.

Specifically hear from ACLU of Michigan Senior Staff Attorney Phil Mayor and Voting Rights Strategist Sharon Dolente, who will speak about criminal legal reform and voting rights actions we are taking now.

The spread of COVID-19 is a crisis, and it will take all of us working together to respond effectively and fairly. The ACLU of Michigan will be monitoring the situation to ensure a response that is scientifically justified and no more intrusive upon civil liberties than absolutely necessary. In particular, we will provide guidance to our elected officials on crafting a response that protects the populations most vulnerable to harm, including working people, immigrants, and those involved in the criminal legal system. In this and all times of crisis, it is critical that "We the People" truly means all of us.
