Competition Question

How can the enforcement of immigration laws, including the proposed DREAM Act and Michigan's recent refusal to give DREAMers drivers' licenses impact the "American Dream" for young people and their families?

Competition Rules

Deadline for submissions is March 15, 2013
  • Students can compete in either the Written or Art categories.
  • First Place in each category is $300. Runners-up win scholarships of $150 and $75.
  • You must be in grade 9 to 12 in Wayne or Macomb County. 
  • Written entries should be 1000 words or less and sent as a Word document.
  • Artwork may be delivered to the ACLU of Michigan offices.
