Paulette Parker joined ACLU of Michigan’s Communications department in October 2025. She comes to the ACLU of Michigan from a journalism background - specifically in public media. She spent 10 years at Michigan Public, an NPR member station, where she took on a variety of roles, including blogger, on-air host, award-winning podcast producer and general assignment reporter. Her most recent role was digital media producer and social media strategist, where she had the opportunity to help shape the station’s digital strategy, as well as teach staff and interns how to create content that informs and engages. Her background has given her a passion for storytelling and for creating content that makes complex topics understandable and accessible for everyone.
