Elyse Lopez is the ACLU of Michigan’s Administrative Assistant for the Development, Executive, and Communications teams.
Elyse graduated from MSU's James Madison College with a B.A. in Social Relations & Policy and a focus on civil rights for Xicanos. She interned for the Michigan Commission on Spanish Speaking Affairs, now called the Michigan Hispanic/Latino Commission, where she fell in love with public service. More recently, she worked as IT support for the University of Michigan community. In her free time, she enjoys writing, photography, playing softball, and baking with her daughter.
