The Journal of Law in Society and the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights will host Deconstructing the School-to-Prison Pipeline on March 25, 2011.

ACLU of Michigan Executive Director Kary Moss and Racial Justice Project Staff Attorney Mark P. Fancher will discuss the criminalization of students and structuring legal reform.

The "School-to-Prison Pipeline" refers to policies and practices that systemically push at-risk youth out of mainstream public schools.
