Quick Tips for Michigan Voters
- Check your voter registration status and your polling place.
- If you are not registered, register to vote by October 11, 2016.
- Consider voting by absentee ballot. Find out more and if you qualify.
- Look at a sample ballot before you go to the polls. This not only keeps lines at the polls moving quickly, but you have a chance to research your position on non-partisan judicial races and ballot initiatives.
- If you have photo identification, bring it to the polls. If you don’t have Photo ID or if you forget it, you can still vote. Just tell the poll workers that you don’t have ID, sign the affidavit form and your vote will count.
