On April 6 Judge Cleland issued an interim order which stops law enforcement from enforcing registration, verification, school zone and fee violations connected with Michigan's sex offender registry law from Feb. 14, 2020 through the end of the COVID-19 crisis. Law enforcement will continue to use the registry during this time.
